See full gallery on TechnoBuffaloFossil has been testing a family of new wearable devices for a few weeks, and now it’s finally ready to make all of the products official, including the Android Wear-powered Q Founder.
The new smartwatch runs Google’s wearable software and features a round display. Fossil designed the Q Founder with direct help from Intel and Google. It features a trio of buttons, including what looks like a rotating crown, and launches in time for the holidays starting at $275.
Fossil also unveiled an entire lineup of wearables with different functions, designs and prices. There’s the Q Reveler, a high-end fitness tracker with colorful LEDs. The company’s also offering a more stylish fitness tracker option with the Q Dream, which features swappable bands in leather and silicon in a variety of colors. Both devices launch on October 25 for $125.
Finally, the Q Grant looks more like a traditional wristwatch, but packs sensors for tracking your activity and connecting with your phone. It also features customizable LED lights for letting you know about incoming notifications. It costs between $175 and $195 and hits stores on October 25.
Fossil also created three new apps to power its wearable experiences. Q Activity tracks your activity and works will all your favorite exercise apps like Google Fit, Apple Health and more. Q Notifications let you customize which alerts show up on your wrist, while Q Curiosity will help you break from your routine with interesting activities and suggestions.
We’re excited to see Fossil’s new devices in action. The Q Founder looks particularly nice, and those fitness trackers are pretty cool too. Hopefully we’ll have a chance to try them out before too long.
